Dear Praying Friends,

I am writing to again to ask for special prayer for our physcial protection.  Today I received a threatening letter from a disgruntled pastor.  The nature of the letter would seem to indicate that it is only a threat, yet we still need your prayer support against the plans of Satan.

I would also like to update you on our last prayer request.  You might remember that a long-time church attendee had been accused of witchcraft.  Because of the difficulty of the situation, our national chairman has taken over pastoring this church for a while.  God has been helping him there, but the problem still hasn't been resolved.  It would seem that the accusations are likely true, and we would appreciate you continued prayer support for a redemptive resolution.  On a more positive note, God is helping the young people of this congregation (all of them new converts) to grow spiritually.

This past Saturday S.W. van der Merwe (son of Johan and Hessie van der Merwe, HIM missionaries in South Africa) and Rev. Tankiso Klaas (one of HIM's pastors from South Africa) came to Lesotho to show a DVD at Ha Ntsabane.  This DVD has a very clear message about the sin of unforgiveness in an African context.  God seemed to be speaking to these new converts about the broken relationships in their lives.  Sunday morning, Pastor Tankiso preached an excellent message on trusting the Lord for protection rather than using charms and witchcraft.  Please pray for spiritual growth among this brand new converts!

Praise the Lord for 26 people who were baptized on the 24th of January.

We are so grateful for your faithful prayer support!
