Dear Praying Friends,

Friday evening I didn't have time to write much, so I just wrote the one request for the seminar I was attending.  Here is a follow-up praise, a few other prayer requests and some exciting praise to our great Lord.

Praise:

  • The Theological Education by Extension seminar went very well, and I felt the Lord's help.  Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for me.  Specifically, God opened the door for me to witness to an older man who does not yet know the Lord as his Saviour.  The Holy Spirit was already at work in his life, and he opened his heart to confess a problem with anger and a short temper.  I was able to point him to the "righteousness that is by faith" in Jesus Christ.  Pray that his life will be transformed from the inside out!
  • The Lord continues to send new people to church at Matukeng.  There were three first-time visitors today including two shepherd boys!  All of them stayed after the service to seek the Lord.  I am especially excited about the shepherds who are seeking the Lord.  Two of them came two weeks ago and I believe they have gotten saved.  These two each brought a friend today.  Pastor Kali agreed to start a Monday night Bible study with them since they normally can't leave their flocks/herds during the day.  The third visitor was a young man who was recently delivered from demon possession.  It seems like he has already gotten saved from listening to a Christian radio broadcast.

Prayer:

  • Please pray for the new converts, especially these shepherd boys.  Also pray for Pastor Kali and the other pastors as they disciple the new believers.
  • We really appreciate your continued prayers as we seek God's will for the work in Lesotho.
  • We will be coming to America for furlough from the end of January to the end of July.  Please pray for us as we plan our deputation and schedule services.  If you are interested in us visiting your church, please send us an email!

May the Lord bless you for your faith prayer support!
